The Alumni Association of West Guwahati Commerce College was established on 20th March 2016. The association formed a core committee of alumni in the presence of Principal I/C Mr Harendra Kumar Nath, Dr Jyotish Goswami, Mr Biswajit Thakuriya, Dr Raktima Huzuri, Mr Ranjit Das, Mrs Elora Devi, Dr Iva Devi and the notable members are Kamal Kalita, Rupam Nath, Amar Jyoti Sarma , Jintu mani sarma ,Jitu mani medhi, Sudeep bhowmick and Hirak Jyoti Talukder. The main purpose of the Alumni Association is to connect and bridge the gap between the Institute and its alumni. Another key objective is to ensure that networking opportunities are provided, which can connect recent graduates with established professionals and help students make a career transition. In addition to career service, it also aims at providing resources for overall development of the college
